Hours: Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm 

Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours 

Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Job Overview: TriLab Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. This position involves performing blood draws and other lab-related procedures at various locations in Illinois. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our patients. Familiarity with safety protocols in handling and disposal of hazardous materials is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform blood draws and other laboratory procedures in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Verify patient identities and ensure accurate record-keeping of all procedures.
  • Educate patients on the collection process, including specimen handling and storage.
  • Accurately label and prepare specimens for transport, ensuring their integrity.
  • Effectively communicate with lab staff, management, and healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and comply with OSHA, HIPAA regulations, and laboratory policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training to maintain and update phlebotomy and lab procedure skills.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a phlebotomy program or certification as a phlebotomist (preferred).
  • At least one year of experience in phlebotomy within a clinical setting.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledgeable in safety protocols for handling hazardous materials.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and accommodate a flexible schedule.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity needed for blood draws and lab procedures.
  • Visual acuity to read labels, forms, and documents.
  • Capability to work in environments with potential exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.

Experience:

  • Phlebotomy: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Phlebotomy Certification
